All things October Road!

Well I have been busy the last few day's learning all I can learn about making the blog better and more interesting. Last night I got stuck on finding all kinds of pictures that have anything to do with October Road. I was a mad women looking at www.photobucket.com and what I had saved on my computer. I just found so many that I loved. But you see the draw back is this, I am a complete dummy when it comes to HTML codes and posting images. So I spent way to long putting pictures here on the blog for you all to see, and almost missed the cut off to post my opinion over at Hey Nielsen. I was so stress I was yelling at the computer to move faster. I can report the computer did not answer back so I have not completely lost my mind. When I came here today to post this entry I came from just finishing my other blog over at Live Journal. This is all new here so I was so happy to come here and mess around some more with the lay out of the page and such. I just now read the poll I had posted for picking what show you wanted to see next year on ABC and I forgot to list October Road as one of the options. I think I have lost my mind. But you will be happy to see I fixed that and added more pictures for you to see from the cast and show. So, I will end by saying, I'm not done yet, just like we aren't done trying to get ABC to listen to us. I read over at the advisory board this quote from one of the moderator's in regards to all our post pleading for October Road to be brought back to television: "Thank you for all of your passionate feedback. ABC Studios appreciates your support for our shows. Note that ABC Studios and ABC Network are separate entities, and ABC Studios does not make programming decisions. Please read more about ABC Studios below, and we look forward to your continued participation. About ABC Studios -ABC Studios, formerly known as Touchstone Television, has established itself as one of Hollywood's leading production companies, creating critically-acclaimed, quality programming to the broadcast and cable television industry. Since the Touchstone banner first appeared on the sitcom Golden Girls over twenty years ago, the studio has produced many of the most recognizable television programs in the world. The studio's focused balance of creativity, management and technology has yielded 23 diverse productions in the 2007/08 season on networks ABC, CBS, NBC, CW, Lifetime, ABC Family and FX. Currently Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Desperate Housewives are international sensations while Samantha Who? and Private Practice launched as two of the most popular new series this season. ABC Studios is currently in production on over twenty programs including fan favorites Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty on ABC, According to Jim and Scrubs...which both completed their seventh year on television, the popular CBS dramas Criminal Minds and Ghost Whisperer, ABC Family's most watched original series Kyle XY, and ABC's late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live. And what exactly is the role of a television studio? ABC Studios collaborates with talented writers, producers, directors, actors and entertainment craftsman to produce television programs by developing them from nascent ideas into elaborate and compelling series. Production involves over 100 people on each series to plan, shoot, edit, sell and market the programs. And as owners of the content, ABC Studios has the opportunity to sell these programs to myriad distribution businesses, platforms and markets, whether it be broadcast, cable, syndication, international, DVDs, free streaming, downloads, mobile phones and more. These distribution outlets enable the studio to enrich the viewer's experience, bringing them shows when, where and how they want them. " end quote. My question is to you people is this: Was that their not so subtle way of asking us to stop posting are unhappiness with the cancellation of October Road?? I think it was. OK, well that's all for now. Feel free to leave comments and vote on the polls. Both polls you are able to choose as many options as you like. Tootle Pip!

Meggan you sure work hard at helping save such a great show that the networks are too blind to see that if they just show it there is a fanbase to watch it. October Road just needs the fans to continue their fight!! donna.
