My message to October Road Fan's that have lost hope and don't want to fight anymore!

I understand how sad it is to see our efforts not be taken for what they are. I think if we have 1 viewer for October Road, their is at least 4 more standing behind that viewer. Shell from the Yahoo Group said this today, "I asked my father in law about complaining to a corporation and he said, for every letter sent into a corporation as a complaint, there is a 100 more for that one!" This statment blew me away. So what he is saying is that every corporation should realize, for every letter they recieve as a complaint there are 100 more out there not sending a letter in for the same complaint. Well at least that's what I thought was meant by this statement. I mean everyone of us can get at least 4 people they know to want to sit and watch this great show. So ABC doesn't count that, ok, so what. Fox see's it! They are changing there programing this fall for two big show's. Fringe and Doll House, these show's are expected to do so good Fox is only selling 5 min. of commercial time at a very high price. These shows are going to get a 50 min. content time slot. Fox, say's they are doing this because of the TiVo/DVR phenom. See, Fox, get's it! The networks have to get with the times. They don't want us reaching for the remote and skipping commercials. So they think a little bit of good quality commercial's will help this from not happening. What does that have to do with OR, everything, ABC has to see that Steve McPherson is in the Dark ages. They think more Reality will save them because programs cost much more to make now. But what can we do about it? I don't know if we "SMALL CORE FAN GROUP" that is "NOT THE KIND OF AUDIENCE" McPherson is looking for can do anything. But we have to try! We have to keep trying because another great show is going to come along and get the same treatment, because what McPherson means is we "small core fan group" is mostly women in the 20 to 100 range. We are the ones that do the voting, petitioning and watching mostly of OR, right? Yeah I agree, but I don't see that as a bad thing, I see it as a good thing. Woman around the world guide what the family watch's most the time. If the family is ages 15 to 100 they all will love October Road! So on the myspace group page for OR, a comment was left by a fan. She had paper leaves she made and let her kids color the leaves. Then they wrote fav. quotes from the show and sent them in. I think that is a great idea! You don't even have to cut them out, make a maple leaf on your computer, type on the inside your fav. quote and why you want OR back and shoot it off in the mail to McPherson. I know we are feeling ignored and unappreciated, well I know I am, but I think some of you fan's are too! I think it frakken vaccum's, but I don't care! I'm never going to stop fighting for this show. I'm sorry this is so long, but I had a lot on my mind and wanted to put it out there into the universe. I also don't believe a boycott will help. No one is going to stop watching Lost, if they are a fan. We Lost fan's are Rabid! No one is going to stop watching Grey's we fan's are head over heals for McSteamy and McDreamy. I won't stop watching Dancing with the Stars. So, it's hard, it's sad sometimes, it vaccums(sucks), and yes it might not work, but we all have to try! The end of my rant!
